The Culture of the PC

This piece was written by Dan Bricklin (co-creator of VisiCalc – the killer app that made the Apple II a hit and helped the PC market take off). In it he argues that the counterculture movement played less of a role than many might think in the creation of the PC and that there had always been a desire to make computers for personal use.
