The webpages for the MacBook Air and the iPad Mini blend whitespace, images and text masterfully. The result is simple, elegant and aesthetically pleasing (nice fonts make a huge difference). They also don’t make extensive use of columns. The top down style is easy for the reader to process (your eyes don’t have to dart around from column to column, you can just keep reading down the page for the most part).
